Asia Pacific Self Defence was registered on 3 Nov 16 and is fully owned and operated by a veteran of 36 years (Regular Army) with multiple deployments. APSD is a instructor certified school, registered with Martial Arts Australia, which is a Peak Industry Body for Martial Arts in Australia. We have two ASIC registered schools operating under APSD, being Ipswich Martial Arts and Centenary Martial Arts.

We strive to operate with a supportive culture that encompasses everyone in a friendly environment. We want all of our students to know they are safe and can trust the instructors and fellow students. That's why the most important person on the mat, is not the instructor, senior belt or yourself. It is your training partner.

APSD offers Martial Arts training (primarily Hapkido) and self-defence classes, including FREE self-defence classes to the community, in partnership with Centenary Community Connections.

We also offer discounts to Veterans, ADF members and families.
